Lauren Rogan

Lauren Rogan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, both from the University of Washington. She is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as she pursues her certification in speech-language pathology.
Lauren’s clinical experiences span a variety of settings, including graduate internships in outpatient neurodevelopmental evaluations, NICU and infant/child feeding specialties, an acute care rotation in the cardiothoracic ICU working with heart surgery and lung transplant patients, and outpatient services at a children’s hospital.
Her clinical interests include pediatric and infant feeding/swallowing, cognitive communication and executive functioning, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and the diagnosis and treatment of childhood apraxia of speech. Lauren is passionate about helping children and adults communicate effectively and express themselves through the communication modalities that work best for them.
Before beginning her career as a speech-language pathologist, Lauren played volleyball at the University of Washington and professionally in Peru. In her free time, she continues to play volleyball recreationally in her community and coaches a local club team alongside her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her dogs, tending to her houseplants, and engaging in creative projects like painting, home renovation, and crocheting. Lauren is dedicated to highlighting the strengths of every individual she works with, empowering them to achieve effective communication and self-expression.
