Kenneth Silva

SLP - CCC

Kenneth is a speech-language pathologist clinical fellow who completed both his Bachelor’s and Masters of Communication Disorders and Sciences at the University of Oregon. Having undergone several clinical rotations and externships throughout graduate school, Kenneth is experienced with working with an array of populations from early childhood to the geriatric population.

Kenneth has received several distinguished clinical awards and recently had the opportunity of being selected to be an invited speaker discussing his research on bilingual aphasia assessments at the Oregon Speech and Hearing Association’s fall conference.

Kenneth is compassionate and patient when working with clients through their recovery process or when helping clients learn how to live with their ‘new normal’. Kenneth truly believes that helping patients requires vulnerability and active listening; he is eager to learn from client experiences  and build a bridge between the personal experiences of clients and clinical research.

When Kenneth isn’t in the office, you can find him participating in active-ities like dancing, rock climbing, pickleball, and going to the gym. Kenneth is learning to take time to himself as a recovering perfectionist- and appears to be doing well.
